Renovation of the former tobacco factory in a productive area
Bruxelles / 2013
Acquired in 2002, this British American Tobacco factory from 1925 to 2001 now houses large and bright workspaces.
The building has been renovated according to the principles of sustainable development. The demolitions have been limited and renovation and restoration have been favored to minimize waste production.
The Lavoisier consists of renovated modules offering flexible surfaces of 500 m² to 13.900 m². These spaces are devoid of partitions, which allows all possible and imaginable amenities.
The space has been completely redesigned, the entire building is subtly divided and arranged to provide fluid internal circulation. The pleasant and airy work environment offers unparalleled natural light thanks to the large windows and comfortable ceiling heights
The industrial functionality of the site was voluntarily maintained, which allowed to preserve the original cachet of spaces with economic vocation.
