Fontaine - L’Evêque / 2005

The work of the first phase consisted of:

• Repair of all the roofs except the one of the tower,
• Exterior repairs of the masonry of the transept and choir,
• Stabilization of the building by injecting a mineral grout (lime-based) to fill the gaps between the walls (26 M3) plus 4 M3 for the crossing of the transepts,
• Injection of mineral grout in buttresses with pinning or anchoring using 30X30 stainless steel bars 30x30,
• Reinforcement of the vaults and arches with stainless steel rods diameter 4 through the ceilings and recalled in a lime based screed containing a metal mesh.

All drilling is carried out underwater using horizontal electric drills and vertical oil turbines.

The work of the second phase consisted of:

• replacement of the roof and structure of the bell tower,
• The stabilization of the central nave, the lateral nave and the tower,
• Renovation of exterior masonry.
